Nearly 1,900 AT&T Broadband Workers Gain CWA Representation and Bargaining Rights during 2001;

Since 1999, 3,000 AT&T Cable Workers Have Voted for CWA in Representation Elections


The importance of gaining a voice on the job continues to resonate among AT&T Broadband employees from coast to coast as nearly 1,900 workers at the nation’s largest cable company have voted for and won CWA representation during 2001. Over all, more than 3,000 AT&T Broadband employees have gained CWA representation since 1999.

What follows is a brief rundown of AT&T Broadband locations where 1,890 employees gained union representation and collective bargaining rights:
