Is the guy in the next Comcast truck a Tech or a Lawyer?

It is getting stranger and stranger working at Comcast. Last week here in Sacramento the company paid us to sit through a speech by a guy dressed as a Comcast Tech. This gas bag went on and on about how we don’t need a union. He seemed to be saying that we can trust the company. Finally, one of the guys asked him if he was a lawyer. Bingo! Turns out he is Mike Melenaro, a lawyer from Atlanta and he works in HR. Now, we don’t mind if lawyers dress like us but it does seem a little strange that the company would be asking us to trust them at the same time they are trying to deceive us. If Mike wants to be a technician, he should learn how to do honest work and see if his view on unions doesn’t change.
